The artwork is my cover design for Comets and Criminals issue 2.
It was a request that I do this design based on The Case of the River Monkey Taxidermist by George S. Walker, which is the opening story for this collection of short stories and poems.
I enjoyed the story and the challenges of placing certain key elements in the design such as identifying Paris by the Eifel Tower, the Seine River, one of the bridges and adding the characters from the story along with the rising space ship with passenger inside.
